Tetsuya Ishida’s works depict and satirize the unrest that lurks in everyday life in modern society through the transmutative body and surreal expression. Reflecting on the current structure of Japanese society and education, it shows that Japanese young people are struggling in the impact of social changes and technology, being oppressed by the change of social structure and trying to adapt to the current situation of contemporary life.
